What we collect

When you send the Get In Touch form we receive what you type into it: your name and phone number, and, if you give them, your email address, your area or postcode, the kind of work you need and your message. The email we receive also records the date and time, the page the form was sent from and the IP address it was sent from, which helps us deal with spam.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and carry out the work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and taking steps towards a contract at your request. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.

Who sees it

Enquiries are sent by email through our website host's mail servers to our own inbox. A copy is also sent to the company that built and maintains this website, so that it can check the form is working. Neither uses your details for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. Where we do carry out work for you, we keep records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
